Clearing Customs &
Immigration
When arriving from a foreign port, yachts are required to clear customs and immigration within 48 hours of arrival.
To prepare for your arrival, you can call Customs & Immigration at 212-399-2901. They have an office at Pier 92 in Manhattan. This is on the Hudson River and part of the Passenger Ship Terminal. Street address is 711 12th Avenue at 54th St.
If Customs has personnel available, they will send officers to your yacht to do customs and immigration. If they do not have staff available, you will need to go to their office at Pier 92.
