Lively Lady LOA: 36' Lively Lady completed a circumnavigation in 1968 when Sir Alec Rose's sailed her around the world single-handed. http://livelylady.net/
She was originally built in Calcutta, India and is 36' long. her beam is 9' 2" and she draws 6' 6".
Her skipper now is Alan Priddy. He is renowned for record-breaking exploits in powerboats, including trans-Atlantic crossings and a world circumnavigation in a 33 ft inflatable.
Now, by following in the footsteps of his childhood role-model Sir Alec Rose, Alan is aiming to have a more immediate impact on the lives of more than 50 young adults - giving them the opportunity to sail on Lively Lady on part of a round the world challenge.
Lively Lady will make 27 stops on her voyage around the world and on each leg, her crew will change and two more young adults will come on board.
